Joy That Can Be Seen and Heard (by Apple)

In a follow up to my posting on “Apple’s Credit Crunch Christmas“, it seems that the onslaught from Apple is unrelenting. There isn’t a day that goes by that doesn’t see a marketing email, all gift wrapped and pretty, sitting in my inbox from yours truly. Whereas last time I commented on how Apple was trying to flog an iMac, this time it is their easily marketed iPod, with the slogan “Music to their ears. And eyes”.

And thus it seems that the inexorable spray of email to users inboxes is working, because, as sources tell me, many an Apple store is beating goal and sales from last year, which given that economic times are more dire than last year, doesn’t quite make sense. Are Apple products not luxury, highly priced items? Surely in such a market, Apple Inc. should be suffering, but the ringing of the tills seems to buck this trend and notion.

    Hitting The Market Spot

If nothing else Apple definitely knows how to corner every single angle of the market, from the high end, high priced gear, to the quality low-priced items. If you can’t grab an MacBook or iMac, then grab an iPod, and well, if that is too much, simply buy your loved ones an iTunes Music Store voucher for 50 bucks!

Apple is persistent in their manner and make sure that their products are never far from your mind, to a point of annoyance. Would this stop me buying though? Most definitely not, and according to the stats, not many other shoppers either.

What also strikes me, is the ability of Apple to keep their products at the top of the billing in terms of most desirable Christmas presents year in, year out. Since the iPod was first released way back in 2001, or so, there hasn’t been a stocking must-have list without it.  And there in lies the recipe to success, desirable, relatively affordable and well marketed productsApple Email marketing - Shop With A Specialist.

    50% Off? Fat Chance!

Whether you buy now or after Christmas, you can be guaranteed there will be no 50% off sales at your local Apple Store and despite the retail sector looking grim out in the wider market place, Steve Jobs can be as happy as Larry (Ellison), alongside the rest of the Apple Inc. board members.

No doubt you will receive another 18 emails between now and Christmas day, and probably another few thereafter for good measure, just to ensure you spend your hard earned Christmas dollars, euros, pound sterling or whatever currency with Apple.

So what are you waiting for? Why not get down to your Apple Store and enjoy the personal service of a Specialist Shop who will guide you through the shopping experience seemlessly. Definitely beats shopping online!
