Flip Clock & Tetris Style Lego Screensaver for OS X

Robot Flip ClockThe cool kids over at 9031.com in Japan have come up wIth a couple of really awesome Screensavers.

FliqLo – The Flip Clock Screensaver

The first is a super simple, but very effective flip clock style screensaver that dislays the system time in full view on a black background. As each minute rolls by the numbers flick. The perfect little app for any of us who happen to keep a computer in the bedroom. Tie this in with some alarm clock software and iTunes that operates in the background and you have an award winning formula.

That being said, enjoy typing in the password to your laptop having just scrambled out of bed to shut the damned thing up!Lego Pieces in Red

Briblo – The Lego & Tetris Screensaver

The second of two screensavers is a combination of lego and tetris that sees the pieces drop from above onto a flat green lego sheet. Each and every instance of the screensaver is different, and of course the possibilities are just plain endless! Hours of fun for you and the kids in OS X!

    Installing A 9031.com Screensaver

Though the read me is in Japanese it doesn’t take a modicum of sense to figure out how to install the screensaver and even to read the requirements and will run on a G3 running 10.1 or greater, and seems to work fine on my Intel based 17" MacBook Pro. To install just download the DMG and when mounted, double click the screensaver file and follow the OSX instructions in English.

    Other Things …

The 9031.com site is full of so many treats it is worth just scooting around to find out what it is rammed chock full of, including 80’s arcade style freeware fonts for OSX and Windows, as well as wall paper, photos and more!

To find out more, visit the screensavers page or the 9031.com home page. Enjoy!

    1. Rob:

It’s a shame the Briblo screensaver doesn’t work on Snow Leopard
